Dr Juan Berwers is a general psychiatrist in private practice based in Cape Town.

Dr Berwers obtained his medical degree at the University of Pretoria. After completing his community service, he worked as a medical officer in the Department of Psychiatry at Groote Schuur Hospital. He went on to complete his specialist training and master’s degree in Psychiatry at the University of Cape Town. He has obtained diplomas in both mental health (South Africa) and clinical technology (neurophysiology).
